2018 UEFA Champions League Final
Mastercard wanted to activate a special connected experience in the Champions League Village that is aligned with the brand’s innovative vision to create a world beyond cash. A single badge needed to facilitate access control, process transactions for all on-site shopping and unlock a digital ordering experience for all of the guests.
Mastercard partnered with Enlighton to develop the Adidas digital storefront, and all guests had to do was tap their badges on the table to shop and play a game for the chance to win autographed prizes. Inventory updates were processed and guests were able to check their available balance in real-time throughout the event.
